Why do you need a Will?

A will is a legal document which outlines what you would like to have happen to your estate when you pass on; and if you have minor children, who you would like to care for them after you are gone. It is an essential asset to keep the State from deciding where your estate goes (through intestate succession) and who will care for your minor children.

Anyone with assets or minor children should consider a will a priority. If anything should happen to you, a will is the only way to ensure that your family will be taken care of the way you intend.

Testamentary Trusts

Under Arizona law a child becomes an adult at the age of 18-years-old. Most parents today prefer to protect assets until their children reach a mature age. Through the use of a testamentary trust, a document set up by your will, assets can be protected for children beyond the age of 18-years-old.
